Morgan Peele is a proud #RealCollege student and PhD candidate in Demography and Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her graduate research, which is supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), broadly focuses on mental health, education, and race/ethnic disparities in health and well-being. She also holds a MA degree in Statistics from the Wharton school, as well as a MA degree in Sociology from Indiana University and a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies from Kenyon College. Before entering graduate school, Morgan served as a Fulbright Research Fellow in Hangzhou, China.
Morgan’s hope: To creatively harness the power of data and research to provide the support college students need to not only survive, but thrive.
