Bio: Denisha is an undergraduate student at North Seattle College. Originally from Seattle, she joined the SLAC because she wants to learn more about advocating for equity in education and making good trouble. Denisha brings to the Council her lived experiences with parenting and working full-time while in college, aging out of the foster care system, as well as family struggles with the criminal justice system. Denisha has pledged a commitment to help advance the movement for real college equity.
