Bio: Freda Bridges is an undergraduate student at Montgomery College. Originally from Washington, D.C. She joined the SLAC to remind other students that despite challenges in life, showing compassion for yourself and advocating for yourself will nurture support needed for your journey. Freda brings to the Council her lived experiences as a minor being raised by her grandmother and aunt, returning to college while raising a family all while being committed to advocacy and action.
