Bio: Kesare Mowrer is an undergraduate student at Temple University. Originally from Columbia, Pennsylvania, she joined the SLAC because she wants all students to find success, and to not have their success defined by the financial barriers in their way. She hopes that all students can receive proactive support from their schools, that allows the student to view their school as a place of refuge, not just a learning institution. Kesare brings to the Council her lived experiences as a first generation and non-traditional college student. She hopes to share her experiences navigating college years after graduating high school and the financial struggles endured along the way.
