Pei Hu is a Research Associate at the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice. Pei’s research interests focus on leadership education, international education, student success, and equity and social justice issues in higher education. Prior to joining the Hope Center, Pei worked as a graduate research assistant for the Leadership Learning Research Center at Florida State University (FSU), conducting research on student leadership development and serving as a teaching assistant in the Undergraduate Certificate in Leadership Studies program. Pei also worked as a graduate research intern in the Center for Postsecondary Success (CPS) at FSU since 2018. Pei has co-authored several articles as a member of the CPS research team studying Florida’s developmental education reform and student success.
Pei is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education at FSU. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Literature and Linguistics from Jianghan University in China and obtained her Master’s degree in Higher Education from FSU.
