An estimated half of all college students struggle with basic needs insecurity, but many colleges and universities do not have the information necessary to take action. The Hope Center is partnering with Hobson’s Starfish to develop and pilot a new student intake form on Starfish Enterprise Success Platform. Practitioners at participating institutions will use the data collected from the pilot intake form to identify students in need of support for their basic needs, rethink student programming and supports, and develop outreach strategies to students in real time.
