Bio: Victoria Rocha is an undergraduate student at California State University, Fresno in the Social Work Program. She is originally from Bakersfield California but has resided in Fresno for over 20 years. She joined the SLAC because she is passionate about education and equality for all, especially those who are formerly and currently incarcerated. Victoria brings to the Council her lived experiences with addiction, the criminal justice system, and parenting five children while trying to accomplish her academic goals. She is committed to advocating for those whose voices go unheard, and to encourage others that change is possible, even more so through education.
