Bio: Ronsard J. Mondesir is an undergraduate student at Miami Dade College’s Honors College, where he is currently obtaining a major in Biology. Following his migration to the United States at the age of 12, he moved between family friends’ homes for four years. He joined the SLAC to bring awareness to the social and economic issues that affect students in the United States. Ronsard brings to the Council their lived experiences with economic hardship, and a commitment to initiating relevant conversations about possible options for promoting and facilitating students’ academic excellence.
